Who are the 3Cooks?
3Cooks is made up of experienced and expert chefs Hugh Hyland and Trevor Kearns.
At the heart of every 3Cooks event, whether it's an intimate dinner, wedding or corporate event, we source freshly prepared, seasonal ingredients and offer exceptional levels of service.
We work closely with you to create the perfect menu and do everything we can to make sure your event is unique to you. We then select the finest ingredients cook them with modern classic techniques, letting the flavors shine through.
For all our events, it's essential that the food leaves our kitchen looking delicious and tastes even better.
Trevor Kearns
With a background in luxury country houses, five star hotels and luxury holiday resorts, Trevor has over 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Starting in the kitchens of Rathsallagh House, the Blue Haven Hotel, Kinsale, this lead Trevor to work in some of the leading hotels in the world, such as the five start Clarence Hotel and the Westbury Hotel, where he was head pastry chef.
Moving abroad, Trevor spent time working in the kitchens of luxury holiday resorts in America and heading up the kitchen of Quinto Do Lago in Portugal for two years.
Coming home to take up the position as head chef in the opening of Carton House Hotel in Kildare, Trevor recognised the need for a five star, bespoke, catering company.
Hugh Hyland
Hugh’s love and interest in cooking started from a very young age. He started out working in some of Dublins most renowned Hotels and restaurants, before travelling to London to gain valuable experience under the guidance of Philip Howard in his two star Michelin restaurant “The Square”.
On his return Hugh took up the position of head chef in Rolys Bistro leading a large kitchen brigade.
Hugh now plays an integral role within the 3Cooks team for his creativity in menu planning and his passion and love of food.
